Management team

Francisco Manzano

Managing Director Partner

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Master’s Degree in HR Management from the same university and PMD from ESADE.

He has 20 years of experience with multinational companies like Hewlett Packard, Nicholson International and Accetis International. He is an Executive Search specialist, in addition to the development of Upper-level Management consultancy projects in the Industrial, TIC, Telecommunications, Energy and Banking sectors, among others.

Currently, he is the Managing Director of AD HOC Executive Search at the national and international levels.

Óscar Mambrillas

Managing Partner

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Strategic Management from the University of Deusto in San Sebastian. Technician in Administration and Finance.

Has 15 years of experience in the creation and management of industrial and service companies. He specializes in Internationalization and Corporate and project management in business development, business growth and expansion.

He is currently Managing Partner of AD HOC Executive Search at national and international level.

Carlos Utanda

Managing Partner

Technical Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Master in Commercial Management and Marketing. 18 years of professional experience of which the last 12 in Executive Search.

After a period of 6 years in Seeliger y Conde Group as Account Director, he joined AD HOC Executive Search as a Managing Partner.

He has multi-sectorial and multifunctional experience with areas of expertise in FMCG, Technology, Consulting, Insurance, Logistic and Industry among others.

Cesar Truan

Managing Partner

César Truan joins as AD HOC Executive Search Partner in 2018, being the Director of the Barcelona office.

He began his professional career in the financial sector at Deloitte as Auditor of Financial Institutions, and subsequently carrying out financial consulting projects within the Services and Industrial Sector. In 2006, César joined a Multinational Executive Search, being Manager of the finance and banking division in Barcelona. In 2008, he started his career in the Seeliger y Conde Group, where he has spent a period of 10 years as the Executive Search Director of the firm.

César holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona, complemented by an Executive MBA in Esic. César speaks Spanish, English, French and Catalan fluently.

Juan Jose Barbado

Manager

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Master’s Degree in HR and Organizational Development from the same University.

He has more than 10 years of experience in Executive Search. He began his professional career as Executive Search Consultant, joining AD HOC Executive Search as Manager in 2010. During these years, he held different positions of leadership while heading Executive Search projects in sectors like Pharmaceuticals, TIC, Banking and Engineering, among others.

Ana Sarmiento

Manager

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country with a major in Marketing & Sales. Master's in Human Resources Management.

Ana joined AD HOC Executive Search as a Manager on 2017. She has been in the field of people management consultancy for nearly 20 years, mainly in the Executive Search area. She has developed a sound career in top Head Hunting companies in Madrid and Bilbao.

She designs and leads complete Executive Search projects as a real partner with clients and candidates in both local and international positions. She offers deep understanding of clients' business needs, organisational culture and market tendencies of many sectors, particularly strong in Manufacturing, FMCG, Healthcare, Logistics & IT profiles.
